Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed through aerd.cc. Please read them before you order. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. We sell to consumers in the Netherlands and the rest of the European Union. Orders are for personal use; we may decline orders that look like resale.

3. Our products

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including material, weight and measurements. Colours can appear differently on different screens, and measurements may vary within the tolerance stated on the size chart. If what you receive does not match its description, see our Refund policy.

4. Prices

All prices are in euros and include 21% Dutch VAT. Shipping is shown separately at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If a price is obviously wrong through a typing or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract comes into being when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot fulfil an order because an item is unavailable, payment fails, or we cannot ship to your address, we will tell you and refund you in full.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and the methods shown there. We do not store your card details.

7. Delivery

Delivery costs, delivery times and the countries we ship to are set out in our Shipping policy. We deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest.

8. Cancelling and returning

You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, without giving a reason. How that works, what it costs and how we refund you is set out in our Refund policy.

9. Conformity and guarantee

Everything we sell must match its description and be of the quality you can reasonably expect. Under EU consumer law you have a two-year legal guarantee from delivery. Depending on the fault you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. This does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or damage caused by not following the care instructions.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to meet these terms. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

11. Intellectual property

The name aerd, the wordmark, the garment designs, the photography and the text on this site belong to aerd or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

12. Your personal data

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy policy.

13. Complaints

Email info@aerd.nl with your order number. We confirm receipt within 2 working days and aim to give a substantive response within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, see the Complaints and disputes section of our Legal notice.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this site at the moment you place it.

15. Law and jurisdiction

Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.
